The ISGC Launches Its Official Website and Public Repository

The International Security of Governance Council has launched its official website, providing the public with direct access to the Council's founding instruments, its mission and mandate, and information on its composition and membership as the Expert Council is constituted.

The site is built around a single working assumption: that transparency is the default position of the Council, not an exception granted on request. Every governing instrument, once adopted, is published here in full; every category of membership, every committee, and every procedure is described in the terms fixed by the Council's own instruments, not summarised or simplified for presentation.

As the Council's work programme begins, this site will extend to carry its substantive output: peer-reviewed research and publications, advisory opinions issued to states and international bodies, and the outcome documents of its Forums and Roundtables. Each of these will be indexed in the permanent digital repository maintained in the Library & Archives section.

Where a document or dataset does not yet exist — because the relevant committee has not yet convened, or the relevant cycle has not yet closed — the site says so plainly, rather than leaving a gap or a placeholder that could be mistaken for an oversight. Readers should expect this repository to grow considerably over the Council's first reporting cycles.
